A Missouri mother is pleading for information after her daughter, Annabelle, went missing after leaving home on foot. Stacy Wharton Parker shared an emotional appeal asking people to spread the word about her daughter’s disappearance. Annabelle, who goes by Hope at school, had been missing for roughly 24 hours when Parker recorded the message.

@hope Please come home. You aren’t in trouble. We just want you safe. You aren’t loved and adored and missed so much. If anyone has any information about my daughter please contact me no matter if you think it is big or small. https://www.missingkids.org/poster/NCMC/2103032/1

The video was shared on TikTok under a new account going by @staceywattenbarge8 and gathered several hundred thousand views. Parker said Annabelle left around 1:11 p.m. and that the family had no leads on where she might have gone. According to her mother, the teenager left without a phone, money or other belongings, taking only the clothes she was wearing.

Parker also expressed concern for her daughter’s safety, saying Annabelle has been battling depression and could be at risk. She urged people to share Annabelle’s information through the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children in hopes that someone might recognize her and help bring her home safely.

The Missouri mother made a direct appeal to Annabelle’s classmates, asking anyone who may have seen or spoken with her before she disappeared to come forward. She emphasized that even information that might seem insignificant could potentially help the search.

The family is hoping that getting Annabelle’s face and information in front of more people will lead to a sighting or provide investigators with a clue about where she may have gone. Anyone with information about Annabelle’s whereabouts should contact the appropriate authorities or use the official missing-person information provided for her case.

Missouri Mother’s Appeal Has Commenters Seeking Details

The appeal also prompted commenters to point out a major problem with the post: they wanted to know where the disappearance happened. Several people repeatedly asked for the city and state, saying that location information was important if others were expected to keep an eye out for Annabelle.

Others focused on making the post easier to identify and share. One commenter suggested making another video that included the state and a photo of Annabelle, while another pointed out a small wording error in the description and encouraged Parker to correct it.

Despite the requests for more information, the response was largely supportive. Commenters offered prayers for Annabelle’s safe return and expressed sympathy for her mother. Some said they hoped she would be found safe and reunited with her family, while others offered to keep an eye out for her themselves. “I’m so sorry you are going through this. I pray she will be found soon,” one user wrote.

Another commenter offered a practical suggestion, encouraging the family to consider Annabelle’s favorite places to visit, particularly secluded areas, given Parker’s mention of her depression.

For many commenters, the message was simple: they wanted to help, but first needed enough information to know where to look. Without a location or clear photo, sharing the post was about the most they could do.
