COD: Modern Warfare 2 is one of the most played online games right now. The game was released only a few weeks ago, and there was a lengthy beta process before that. As the player count is big, the expectations are high. While we expect new features, the game bugs and problems are annoying. One of the biggest problems was the matchmaking system on Xbox. There were numerous complaints about the party matches. You might also face the problem if you try to find a match with more than three players in the lobby. This is the biggest problem for Xbox users right now, but the good news is here. Modern Warfare 2 developers are aware of the problem, and they had a statement about this.
Modern Warfare 2 Game Developers Investigating The Xbox Matches
Some users were trying to find a temporary solution but there, unfortunately, isn’t. You might face problems while playing in a lobby with more than three players. This is only getting reported for Xbox. Infinity Ward is aware of the problem and they started seeking a solution. We might see a patch in a few days or even weeks. The biggest question is, how fixable is this? Because even the developers don’t know much about the problem, they need to investigate the bug for a while.
Here’s the statement that came from the company:
“We’re investigating an issue where some Xbox players in a party of more than three are having issues queuing up/matchmaking. Stay tuned for further updates.”
They also shared the team’s Trello page. All the reported issues are categorized with their status and are publicly viewable. The Xbox problem is also on the known issues list. You might want not to play with friends until the problem gets fixed. The developers didn’t give a date for the patch, but we’re at least a few weeks far.
