One of the eagerly anticipated additions to Modern Warfare 2 of this year’s FIFA World Cup in Qatar is CoDBall. Activision has seized this fantastic opportunity even though the game is very different from a title like FIFA 23. And football legends Lionel Messi, Neymar Jr., and Paul Pogba are all scheduled to participate as playable Operators in Modern Warfare 2 FC event.
Modern Warfare 2 FC Event Date and Operators
A few weeks after Modern Warfare 2‘s release, Activision prepares for the first significant in-game event. An FC-themed takeover will kick off a celebration of football that will begin in the middle of Season 1.
On Monday, November 21, the first of the new football Operator skins for Modern Warfare 2 is scheduled to go live. Brazilian superstar Neymar is unlockable for Modern Warfare 2 players. Paul Pogba will come after this on November 25. Finally, on November 29, MW2 and Warzone 2.0 players will have access to Lionel Messi.
The three footballers confirmed to be coming to Modern Warfare 2 are:
- Neymar – November 21
- Pogba – November 25
- Messi – November 29
However, it is yet to be determined how much they will cost and what additional benefits they will have.
CoDBall mode
The recently launched CoDBall mode is one that many players have asked questions about. Little information about the content has been released thus far, except for the name. There have been a few rumors about what might be included in it.
Leaked information indicates that a Rocket League-inspired mode will include teams driving ATVs in a football stadium and launching a large ball toward the opposite goal for points.
The game mode will certainly be team-based and may even feature 11v11 combat. However, it’s a guess, and gamers should wait for Activision to release official details.
