It was first introduced on December 24, 2019, and is back in the game. This guide will tell you how to play Shoot the Ship in Modern Warfare 2.

What is  Shoot the Ship in Modern Warfare 2?

Shoot the Ship adds two playlists, Shipments, and Shoot House, to the 24/7 playlist. 24/7 is a recurring game mode in Modern Warfare 2. Shipments and Shoot House were in this playlist from time to time. However, when Shoot the Ship was added this time, both maps were added to the playlist.

Shipments is a classic map from Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare and Shoot House is from Modern Warfare. You can play several game modes in this playlist, including  Team Deathmatch, Domination, Headquarters, Kill Confirmed, and Hardpoint.

Infinity Ward had made a poll on Twitter recently to find out the most popular map between Shoot the Ship, Shipments, and Shoot House. The results were overwhelming in favor of  Shoot the Ship with 45% votes. There is no information about how long this playlist will stay in the game, so you should enjoy it while it lasts.
