After an onslaught of fiery messages, community outrage, and tweets, it seems Infinity Ward decided to listen. As Modern Warfare 2 Season 2 reloaded is finally wrapping up, we got a welcome surprise out of nowhere. Infinity Ward decided to bring back Shipment 24/7 in Modern Warfare 2 just in time for the current season to wrap up. Yep, you can hop into a Shipment 24/7 lobby in MW2 now!
Shipment 24/7 Is Back In Modern Warfare 2
It was today that CharlieIntel revealed that Shipment 24/7 has been included in Modern Warfare 2’s playlist. The game mode was removed in January 2023, and fans have been outraged ever since. The game mode was the best and most entertaining way to grind out camos and get your hands on some well-needed XP.
But that’s not all. Another eagerly awaited map has made it into Modern Warfare 2’s current playlist. Remember Moshpit 10v10? It’s back just right in time for MW2’s Shipment 24/7 addition. Finally, we got a good playlist. And for those hardcore game mode fans, we have another surprise for you. Hardcore Shipment is back. It feels like Christmas already!
Infinity Ward did not comment or address the matter either in subreddits and tweets for nearly three months, and COD fans had almost given up on Shipment 24/7 for MW2. But why now? Fans think it’s because people are starting to skimp out on Modern Warfare 2. Is this Infinity Ward’s last resort to bring players back into the game? We don’t think so.
Now all that’s left is for Infinity Ward to bring back killstreaks to their former glory and stop coddling noobs. At least, that’s what the community has to say.
So what do you think of Infinity Ward bringing back Shipment 24/7 for MW2? Is the developer finally listening to community feedback, or are they going to go silent on us again? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below, and stay tuned for more updates on the NerdStash.
