A new addition to the legendary Resident Evil Village called Shadow of Rose is here, and you can now immerse yourself in the new exciting gameplay. Unlike the original story, now you have to play as Rose Winters instead of the familiar Ethan Winters. Rose Winters must return to the ominous Castle Dimitrescu and find the purifying crystal. The powers gained from the Megamycete are good, but if it killed almost your entire family, you don’t want that kind of power. About halfway through your playthrough, you should find the Monocular Key in Resident Evil Village: Shadow of Rose, and we know where you have to start.

Where to Find the Monocular Key in Resident Evil Village: Shadow of Rose

In the DLC, you will get several hours of new content. But on the way to the goal, your heroine will go through many tests and have to solve several riddles. Once you’ve explored Castle Dimitrescu and found the Bolt Cutters, Bronze Mask, and Power Amplifier, you’ll need to look for the Monocular Key. Finding this item without clues can be very difficult, but fortunately, a map on the floor near the chair will tell you the way.

However, we’ll make your walkthrough even faster, and here’s what you need to do to find the Monocular Key in Resident Evil Village: Shadow of Rose:

  1. Once you’ve found the first mask on the statue and cleared the cores, look at the carpet to the left of the chair. Here, you will see a small Hand-drawn Map.
  2. By picking up the paper and looking at it, you will find out that the Monocular Key is in the Dressing Room.
  3. Next, you should climb up the corridor towards the Dressing Room.
  4. Enemies will attack you along the way. Defeat them and destroy the core, and then sit down behind the fireplace and slowly make your way to the armory.
  5. Next, you should select the RW Variant Flask 2 power amplifier.
  6. Go to the Dressing Room, destroy the two Face Eaters, and calmly take the Monocular Key from the table.

Once you have received the desired item, do not relax. After all, the Hall of Ablution Bust Puzzle and the search for the second mask await you.
