Another month, another Monster Hunter Digital Event. Capcom has announced that the next Monster Hunter online showcase is coming on May 26 and will bring in news on the Monster Hunter Rise 3.0 title update and additional information on the RPG spin-off Monster Hunter Stories 2. Monster Hunter Rise director Yasunori Ichinose himself has said that the second update will continue and finally finishes the story at the end of the base game where Elder Dragon Narwa, who has been causing the Rampage, fell defeated into a seemingly bottomless pit.
Several fans have been busy cracking any data mentioning the content of Monster Hunter Rise 3.0 title update from the demos and previous updates. According to those data miners, Apex Zinogre, Allmother Narwa, and Crimson Glow Valstrax will be the new monsters for this month’s patch. Allmother Narwa is probably a stronger variant of regular Narwa. Just like Xeno’Jiiva in Monster Hunter World, who for some reason, grew stronger after gotten itself into a hole. Meanwhile, Crimson Glow Valstrax could be a variant of Elder Dragon Valtrax, who debuted in Monster Hunter Generations. Or the “Crimson Glow” part could be its title like “Wind Serpent” Ibushi and “Thunder Serpent” Narwa. We’ll have to wait for now.
