About Moon Knight
Moon Knight, also known as Marc Spector, is a former Marine and CIA operative who suffers from a dissociative identity disorder. This disorder manifests itself in Spector as multiple distinct identities. One such identity is the Egyptian moon god, Khonshu. The Egyptian god uses Spector as a conduit, which leads him to become the masked crimefighter. While the comic book version of Moon Knight had powers based on the different phases of the moon, this version relies more on physical prowess and complex gadgets.
Moon Knight the beginning of a new era for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The storyline of the series will have no clear connection to the rest of the MCU. Though, according to Marvel Studios’ president Kevin Feige, Moon Knight will be appearing in future MCU films following the series. It will also feature an entirely new cast of characters. You would have to go back to pre-2019 Marvel movies to find another instance of that. The series co-stars Ethan Hawke, Gaspard Ulliel, and May Calamaway. Jeremy Slater is on as the head writer, with Mohamed Diab, Justin Benson, and Aaron Moorhead directing.
Alongside their lineup of feature films, Marvel has more original programming heading to Disney Plus in 2022. In addition to Moon Knight trailer, fans can expect to see She-Hulk and Ms. Marvel on the streaming service later this year.
Again, the Moon Knight release date is March 30th. Set your reminders now!
