We were in the final corner to make our way to the Mortal Kombat 1 Kombat Pack 3 funeral but suddenly Jade showed up. The voice behind the character Jade from MK11 has a few lines of dialogues worth considering and it may mean that we’ll get Kombat Pack 3 with Jade in it after all; or do we? It’s all so ambiguous at this point.
So the news is all about Mela Lee, Jade’s voice actor from MK11 has posted a video on her Instagram, talking about her future with the NetherRealm Studios and the Mortal Kombat. According to her, Jade still has a future in the franchise with more stories to follow, but did she just confirm the Mortal Kombat 1 Kombat Pack 3? No.
Is Jade Coming Back In Mortal Kombat?
I can’t answer that question but thank you for asking. I can tell you that NetherRealm took me to breakfast, (and) we have plans. I’m sure there are more storylines for Jade.
This is what we got from Mela Lee, and while there’s a good amount of positivity in there, we should still consider the fact that MK1: Khaos Reigns lack of high numbers on sales are the reason that Kombat Pack 3 is cancelled, so there might be no reverting that one. However, Jade will probably be featured in MK2.
The most important take I’d love to have from this post is that NetherRealm Studios is doubling down on creating more MK games, which could lead to our return to the Earthrealm for the 3rd time in a row with MK11, MK1, and then MK2.
However, it’s quite hard to believe as DC is trending like a good meme with Superman movie’s latest trailer, which could become a force measure by WB on NR to make Injustice 3 instead. As of right now, nothing is confirmed or denied regarding Mortal Kombat 1 Kombat Pack 3 or the next game that NR is working on.
