Warzone and MW3 Week 5 of Season 3 has started with the Reloaded update, giving us a bunch of fresh content, including the finest AR of the Atlas Corporations, alongside the new JAK Wardens conversion kit. This is a not-so-glorious return of the Model 1887 double shotguns from the OG Modern Warfare 2. The new MW3 JAK Wardens conversion kit turns the Lockwood MK2 into akimbo shotguns, with not much firepower to talk about in its best loadouts after unlock.
How To Unlock JAK Wardens Conversion Kit in MW3 and Warzone
You can unlock the JAK Wardens conversion kit for the Lockwood MK2 by completing 5 of the 21 challenges on Week 5 of MW3 and Warzone Season 3. Simply go to the events tab on the main menu, and check out the weekly challenges at the bottom.
There are 7 challenges for MW3 Multiplayer, 7 for MWZ, and 7 for Warzone. So if you prefer to play any of the game modes, you’re fine. Remember though, you’d have to play Resurgence on Fortune’s Keep for the Warzone challenges.

Best JAK Wardens Loadout
- Conversion Kit: JAK Wardens
- Muzzle: Xten Full Choke
- Laser: STOVL Tac Laser
- Ammunition: .410 Gauge Incendiary
As weird as it looks, you can only run four attachments on the JAK Wardens Lockwood MK2, with the optic being the dispensable son in the family. The game blocks barrels, stocks, and rear grip attachments for some reason, so all we’ve is the muzzle, laser, and ammunition.
For the muzzle, the best fitting extension on a shotgun is Xten Choke. This would add an extra damage range, which we would appreciate while using a shotgun. Next, add the STOVL laser for better hip fire accuracy, as we can’t aim down sights while holding the Akimbo Model 1887.
Next, the .410 Gauge Incendiary rounds are the best of the three options for the best Lockwood MK2 JAK Wardens loadout in MW3 and Warzone. The incendiary shots help you finish off any opponent with only two shots at close range.
Overall, the JAK Wardens isn’t the golden hat of MW3 or Warzone in terms of raw power. If you play the Multiplayer modes, a two-shot kill is a guarantee in point blank to nearly 10m range. In Warzone, however, the bolt action animation makes it hard to land the third and fourth shot, so you will not overpower any meta SMG abuser in the game.
