The difficulty level of this fight is nearly the same as surviving the Dark Aether, but this time, there’s a giant worm trying to devour you. To make things worse, you should know that the whole worm battle takes place inside the Aether Storm! How To Find The Red Worm in MW3 Zombies
To spawn the Red Worm in MW3 Zombies, you’d need to find four USB devices and implant them inside four terminals in MWZ. But before that, let’s go over where to look for these USB devices, as they randomly switch positions every match.
- First, you must visit one of the locations marked blue in the image above. There, you’ll find a house; inside it, there’ll be a map of Urzikestan with four separate pieces. These are the four locations you need to go to find the USB drives, which are not aligned in any certain order.
- These photos are random in every match, and each one of them indicates upload stations that look completely the same as the UAV Towers in Warzone and DMZ.
- Match your images to four of the locations you see in the image above, and start collecting the USB devices by interacting with each upload station.
- After you’ve gathered all four Red Worm USB devices in MWZ/MW3 Zombies, look for a location near the Aether Storm, where there are two supply caches near each other. This is where the Red Worm spawns in MW3 Zombies.
- The final step is to wait until the Aether Storm starts expanding. Once the Aether Storm passes the supply caches, it’s time to interact with all four stations near that area. Do that, and the Red Worm gives you a warm welcome.
How To Defeat The Red Worm Fast in MWZ
Before you start the Red Worm boss fight, always remember to have as many self-revives and armor plates as possible. This is absolutely crucial as you’ll face many high-level zombies, Manglers, Disciples, and Mimics alongside fighting the Red Worm in MW3 Zombies. Also, if you have a Juggernaut suit with you, do not hesitate to use it against this giant worm.
One more thing to note is that you’d need an AR with high firepower and good mobility stats. Bringing in the Lockwood 680 or Tyr Akimbo loadouts won’t help you much while fighting the Red Worm in MW3 Zombies. - No matter how many players you have by your side, the Red Worm gets stronger with more people you bring in to aid you in your fight. It’s always great to have teammates by your side, but it’s good to know that you can handle the work solo as well.
- The Red Worm’s boss fight has a few phases, where it disappears and then attacks you again. During this process, he might just eat you, but if you shoot his mouth from the inside, you’ll be dealing the most damage to it!
- Focus on shooting in a Tactical Stance with your AR. This allows for a faster walking speed, with enough focus for shooting the Red Worm’s body’s weak spots.
- Gas grenades, Breacher Drones, and Thermites are the worst enemies of the Red Worm. Always have a few extras of these in your backpack, and remember that you refill them from the two supply caches near you.
- Make sure you shoot down the Aether orbs that float around while fighting the Red Worm. This is very important to remember because not only will the orbs attack you, but they’ll also heal the Red Worm in MW3 Zombies.
- Once you’ve defeated the Red Worm, you’ll be rewarded with legendary level schematics and an Aether Rift for a quick exfil from the area.
