Activision’s Call of Duty official page has released a brand new trailer for MWZ/MW3 Zombies Season 2 Reloaded content launching on March 6, 2024. The video teases a new Aether portal to investigate, a fresh mission to complete, and different schematics to unlock.
What’s New In MW3 Zombies Season 2 Reloaded?
- Another Al Mazrah Aether Rift
- 3 New Schematics To Unlock
- Keres Warlord
- 1 New Story Mission
Starting first with the star of this MWZ Season 2 Reloaded pinch of content, we have a new Aether rift coming to the map. This rift is available for the story mission first, and once completed, it’ll unlock after you finish several tasks. The rift takes the players into Dark Aether, another piece of redesigned Al Mazrah for some reason.
Keres, a new Warlord, is also coming to cover Orlov Military Base to cover the area with red mist. This boss is said to be a chemical master, but if her powers match Dokkaebi from Season 1 Reloaded, you can expect to finish her in less than 10 minutes. Hopefully, this time, we get better rewards for defeating a boss in MW3 Zombies Season 2 Reloaded.
Then we’ve got three new schematics to unlock, which were teased with MW3 and Warzone Season 2 before:
- Mags of Holding: Allows the player to shoot the ammo they’ve got without reloading.
- Blood Burner Key: Gives access to the Blood Burner motorcycle.
- V-R11 Wonder Weapon: The V-R11 is one of the first wonder weapons we got to see in Call of Duty Zombies back in Black Ops 1. Now, you can unlock and use this weapon at will once you have the schematics.
And last but not least, there’s the story mission. Not much is shown in the MW3 Zombies Season 2 Reloaded content trailer, but we can assume that a cutscene would sum up the info we need to know about Dr Jansen’s position and the entity in the Dark Aether rift.
As far as it’s been advertised, there’s only one single mission to complete as a Tier 4 objective in MWZ. And that makes it three days to at most 1 week of content to enjoy with a snack in MW3 Zombies Season 2 Reloaded. If there were more missions and a new map that wouldn’t force players to exfil under 1 hour, MWZ could have been better in this new update.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Zombies is currently available to play on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.
