This article is over 1 years old and may contain outdated information.

The Tombstone glitch is one of the easiest ways in MW3 Zombies to keep all your loot with you every single game. It’s a glitch that allows players to keep their loot in MWZ with the Tombstone soda, but the way it works with teammates is currently patched. So, if you play solo and want to do the MW3 Zombies Tombstone glitch, you’re the lucky one in MWZ Season 1.

The Tombstone glitch comes with two easy steps, and you’re going to need to die once with the perk to pull this off. No worries, however, because you’ll never lose any items, and your every match exfil is going to be much easier as well. Remember, you need to farm as many weapons, cash, and items as you can, and only then start with the steps below.

1. Step One: Buy a Tombstone soda and die.

For the first step of the Tombstone MW3 Zombies glitch, you’re obviously going to need a Tombstone perk. You can buy it on the map, bring it in with you from the craft menu, or do this easter egg to get a free Tombstone perk every match. After you’ve achieved the perk, find a good spot and die.

2. Step Two: Loot your items from the Tombstone.

The next match you start, you’ll see a tombstone logo marked on your tac map. Get there, pick all the items you had in the previous match, and have fun! Play the rest of the match the way you want until you’re ready to exfil. This is where you’ll need to pull off another trick and make MW3 Zombies Tombstone glitch work.

For exfiling, make sure you’re doing this solo, and head toward one of the mission exfil choppers or the public extraction locations. Once you’re inside the chopper, wait for the countdown to start, and as soon as it reaches the final seconds, close the game. That’ll be Alt + F4 on PC and the menu closing the game option on Xbox and PlayStation consoles.

When you close the application, the game glitches, and the next time you go into the menu, you’ll see that all of your weapons and loot are still there in your rucksack. Now start another match, and you’ll find your tombstone marked on your tac map, duplicating all that you already have! This is the Tombstone glitch in MW3 Zombies, and you can easily do it solo. But remember, you need to exfil the same way you did if you still want to keep your items for the next match.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is currently available to play on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.
