Giant babies aren’t necessarily a new thing, but they’re still incredibly rare to see. Many people consider these types of children as those in the 99th percentile, where only 1% of all children are like them. A woman in Nashville, Tennessee, was able to witness just how large these babies can be when she had her very own. Of course, having looked at her pregnancy photos, it’s easy to tell that her baby was going to be massive. However, I doubt she had any idea that they would be born at 12 pounds and 14 ounces. That is one gigantic baby!
A woman posted her very first TikTok to the platform to celebrate the birth of her first baby. What I don’t think she was expecting was just how large this baby was going to be. In fact, I don’t think anyone on the internet was prepared to see just how gigantic this baby was at 12 pounds and 14 ounces. For context, most babies are born at about seven or eight pounds, gaining significantly more weight after they leave their mother’s womb. However, this baby looks like they might have been part of triplets and then ate them all.
In fact, the entire internet didn’t believe that the baby was actually that large. Unfortunately, we live in an era where more and more people can utilize artificial intelligence to create photos or videos that are nearly indistinguishable from the real thing. However, I think it’s much more difficult to mimic the life that this baby is living: being large and in charge. What is even better than his size is his name, Cassian. I don’t think there’s a better name suited for a baby that size. In the original video about his size, one person was so incredulous that they literally commented, “It’s AI, people.”
All jokes aside, pushing a baby that large can be absolutely horrific and life-threatening for the mother. So, it’s incredible that Mama was able to push out Cassian, enjoy his birth, and even get a spot on the local news for the feat. That’s right, Cassian was so large that the delivery was noticed by local Nashville news station WSMV4, where we also learned that he was born on his mother’s birthday. If that isn’t sweet, then I don’t know what is. I would love to see what Cassian looks like in a few years when he inevitably stars in his own news segment about having been so massive at birth.
