If you want some home improvement, HGTV-styled TV, then you are looking in the wrong place. Nathan Fielder’s next bizarre series, The Curse, has received a November release date for Showtime and Paramount Plus with Showtime. It will premiere on the streaming service on November 10 and air on Showtime on November 12.
The series will follow Whitney (Emma Stone) and Asher (Nathan Fielder) as a married couple who started a house-flipping show to build eco-friendly homes in New Mexico. While making their HGTV-styled show, they are trying to have a baby. To complicate things further, they have been stricken by an alleged curse, which could cause problems for their relationship.

The Rehearsal star co-created the upcoming series with Benny Safdie (Uncut Gems), who also plays Dougie, the producer of the house-flipping series with his own secrets. The two and their Oscar-winning co-star will be joined by Corbin Bernsen (The Resident), GiGi Erneta (Veep), Barkhad Abdi (Castle Rock), and Constance Shulman (Orange Is the New Black).
Attendees of the New York Film Festival will get a first look at the show on October 12. It will premiere its first three episodes out of the ten-episode debut season at the film festival, which runs from September 29 to October 15. Other featured showings at the festival will include Priscilla, Ferrari, and Poor Things, which also stars the La La Land star.
Nathan Fielder, like his other work, will wear several hats for The Curse. On top of acting, he directed some episodes, served as an executive producer, and served as a co-writer. His two leading co-stars will also executive produce with Ali Herting, Dave McCary, Ravi Nandan, Alli Reich, Josh Safdie, and Ronald Bronstein.
No trailer has been released. The only look we have so far is of several images, which include the main stars.
