In what many would consider an unhospitable environment, a man in Phoenix, Arizona, showed that he is being tormented nonstop by his downstairs neighbor. It appears that the person continuously bangs on the man’s floor, and management won’t do anything about it.
A clip showing the alleged harassment was shared online by the Arizona man himself, who goes by the TikTok username fartttt._. Recording himself while walking to his neighbor’s apartment, the banging noise began as soon as the man left the elevator.
Nonstop banging is heard throughout the building’s corridor, meaning that this nuisance is something that the neighbors most likely have to go through as well. The Arizona man, without uttering a single word, continued his way to the person’s apartment. The noise just kept getting louder and louder.
The video cuts to the man entering his own apartment. There, the muffled banging can still be heard in the kitchen. It was so hard, in fact, that some of his cups or plates moved to the beat. While pointing at the floor, the desperate man just said, “Help us.”
A Never-Ending Nightmare, Reactions
In the video’s description, the Arizona TikToker explained that this banging has not stopped despite the fact that he has been extremely quiet. Furthermore, he claimed that “management won’t do anything,” meaning that the apparent harassment will continue until he eventually moves out.
The video garnered tens of thousands of likes in days, with hundreds empathizing with the man’s torture of having to put up with a properly named “neighbor from hell.”
“Go to you city courts and file a harassment complaint. A judge can help,” one user said. Another one wrote, “Call the police. File a complaint.” A third one added, “Sounds like they’re using a battering ram.”
Some other users recommended that the Arizona man fight fire with fire. Among the recommendations were river dancing, installing a Dance, Dance Revolution mat, getting a massage gun and using it against the floor, and some good old regular stomping.
Hopefully, the man will be able to get the landlord to do something about the harassing neighbor. Even answering his messages would be a great deal, since, apparently, they have been ignored so far.
