A group of friends in Fort Worth, Texas, was having an amazing time listening to some music when, suddenly, some neighbors called the police on them. When the officers arrived, though, they joined in on the fun, asked for a song, and sang with the partying family.
The wholesome interaction was shared on TikTok by user lbz_pete (Pete). In the caption, he claimed that neighbors had called the police on him and his family because they were making too much noise.
Fort Worth Police officers eventually arrived at the location. While the angry neighbors expected them to tear down their speakers and stop their party from moving forward, the entire opposite happened. Not only were the officers kind, but they also requested a song, “La buena y la buena,” a Regional Mexican song by Banda Tierra Sagrada.
Pete recorded a Texas officer behind the wheel singing and laughing, as the family continued to sing and party with the catchy song. The cop nodded in approval and eventually drove off, sounding his siren. The men in the party, meanwhile, laughed away what could have been a tense encounter with law enforcement.
Party Continues Online, Reactions
The party didn’t stop there. Members of the cop’s family flooded the comment section, saying they felt proud of him. Not only that, the officer’s partner even joined in the fun, saying he was already taken. She added that he is “the best officer.”
Meanwhile, many others wished they could be transported to Fort Worth, believing it is the happiest place on planet Earth. Other users mocked the neighbors, posting memes about them reacting to the cops. Additionally, other Texas citizens praised the Fort Worth police officers for their kindness.
“I need to move to Fort Worth lmao,” one user commented. Another one said, “Staying out of trouble and having some innocent fun thats all.” A third one added, “I don’t know what’s being said in the song, but turn it up!!“
To the internet’s amazement, Pete shared a lighthearted video displaying a healthy interaction between civilians and cops. This is unfortunately rare to see in this day and age.
