A woman in Montana saw that her trash can was in a different place from where she had left it before going shopping. After checking her security camera footage, she found out that her neighbors had slammed into it with their car and didn’t care to pick it up.
The incident was shared on TikTok by user tori.leeta (Tori). After explaining that she went out to do some shopping, Tori showed the current location of her trash can. It was sitting next to her front steps. However, the trash can had been placed right next to her driveway, as it was trash day.
When Tori came back, however, the trash can was blocking her driveway, so she got out and moved it to be able to access it with her car. Then, she showed how the property line divided her house from her neighbor’s house, using her parking area and a power box as a reference. The trash can was on her property before she left.
Tori stated that her neighbors usually park their truck right next to where she left the trash can that morning. “Maybe they moved it,” Tori wondered. “Maybe it was on their way, whatever.”
Footage Shows The Truth, Reactions
However, to find out what exactly went down, Tori checked on her cameras. Turns out, her neighbors had slammed their truck into the trash can and driven off. The trash was left on the street, but was thankfully picked up by the waste collector.
Tori, however, was flabbergasted by this occurrence. “They never said that it [the trash can] was on their way,” she added. “We never had an issue with them before. Like, what the [expletive].” Furthermore, Tori even revealed that her husband told her that this was not the very first time they had hit their trash can.
Just like Tori, many users were angry at the Montana neighbors’ rudeness. “That is so rude!! You need to say something to them,” one user wrote. Another one commented, “Good fences make good neighbors.” A third said, “I can’t stand nasty, rude neighbors.”
Getting a set of cameras seems like a good investment if one has to deal with lousy neighbors. Tori made the right choice, by the looks of it.
