Nerd Block Jr. is a subscription box for young nerds.  Yes, there are nerds of all ages! Nerd Block Jr. Boys is described on their website as follows:

Each Nerd Block Jr. Boys subscription box comes with an exclusively designed t-shirt plus awesome licensed toys, activities and collectibles chosen with budding nerds in mind! Designed for boys ages 6-11, our subscription box for boys features favorites from the latest TV shows, video games, movies and more!

Our team of super nerds handpicks each item that goes into Nerd Block Jr. Boys, testing for quality, collectability and fun factor. Our members are also rewarded with exclusive items you can’t find anywhere else! At Nerd Block, we live by our motto: Geek Tested, Nerd Approved!

Cost:  Starts at $15.99/month (plus shipping & handling)

What comes in the box?: toys and apparel from movies, tv shows, books, and games for boys ages 6-11.

All I know is this box put a smile on my 8-year-old’s face and I really liked what I saw inside, as well.  Let’s show you what brought on the excitement!

Nerd Block Jr.

This t-shirt is based on the Power Rangers.  Angel Grove is the town where the Power Rangers is set.  I am not as familiar with this as my son but he really liked the shirt and appreciated the design.

Nerd Block Jr.

My son also loves playing Angry Birds and was so excited to have all these smaller sized posters.  Who ever heard of a book of 40 posters this size?  I thought this was great!

Nerd Block Jr.

These Transformers dog tags are pretty cool too.  What is it about dog tags that make people want to wear them? Especially kids! I’m not sure but these were a hit with my son, as well.

Nerd Block Jr.

Gotta Catch’em All!  Yes, my son pulled me into the Pokemon Go world and we still look for those Pokemon every once in a while.  He loves all things Pokemon and really liked this lanyard with a poke ball on the end.

Nerd Block Jr.

I’m thinking he may pass this on to his sister.  It’s a Dork Diaries OMG All About Me! book and she likes to read these types of books.

Nerd Block Jr.

These emoji erasers blind bag is something both of the kids love! They know all about emojis and what kid doesn’t like new (free) school supplies that are trendy?

Nerd Block Jr.

Something I really like is the fact that this box is not full of toys and shirts and that’s it.  It also includes books and then there is this issue of National Geographic Kids.  This box can be educational too!

Nerd Block Jr.

And then we have some Galactic Hot Dog stickers.

When I opened this box and saw the contents, I was truly excited for my son who loved a majority of the items in it.  I found this box to be fun, educational, and a perfect choice for boys ages 6-11.  I can’t wait to see what comes in the next Nerd Block Jr. Boys and you should subscribe so you can get in on this great box each month.  The next box closes in 6 days so hurry over to the website (see below) and subscribe.

I am the wife of a real nerd who has developed some nerd-like tendencies along the way. I am a mom of two teenagers who is still trying to figure out what she wants to be when she grows up! I spend my days working at the local community & technical college as a Director of Business & Industry training. At night and on weekends, I love spending time with family, binge-watching tv series, playing video games with the kids, graphic design, and, yes, reviewing products. I have my Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Communication and contemplating a Doctorate…I consider myself a lifetime learner!
