The holidays are among us. With Thanksgiving coming to a conclusion, the Black Friday deals still haunting your conscious, Christmas is now around the corner. December will be one of the busiest months for streaming in Netflix history with the lineup that they have planned to be released. Titles like Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, V for Vendetta, Full Metal Jacket, and the second season of Golden Globe and Emmy winner, The Crown will be available to watch next month. Regardless of your preference, there will be something for everyone.
The most important release for Netflix in December may not be the second season of The Crown or the fourth season of Peaky Blinders, but instead the premiere of Bright on December 22, a fantasy/crime film starring Will Smith and Joel Edgerton. The movie is directed by David Ayer (Suicide Squad) with a screenplay written by Max Landis, the writer behind Chronicle and Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency. An unfortunate departure from the streaming service, though, is all 11 seasons of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. I guess we can’t have it all. The full list of everything coming to Netflix in December and leaving can be found below.
