The latest update for Neverwinter MMORPG is coming real soon, Perfect World and Cryptic Studios announced. The first episode of Neverwinter’s latest three-episode module, the Neverwinter: Sharandar expansion, will launch on PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and Arcgames.com on February 9. However, PS4 and Xbox One players have to wait a little longer since the update drops for consoles on March 9 instead.

In the Neverwinter: Sharandar expansion, you will be taken back to the mystical land of, you guessed it, Sharandar. Initially introduced in Fury of the Feywild back in 2013, this time you can witness the transformation of the ages-old elven stronghold as you take on the sinister new threat and push back the unsettling darkness creeping across the land. Watch the teaser of your upcoming adventure below.

Neverwinter: Sharandar Official Announce Trailer

The story of Neverwinter: Sharandar is split apart over three episodes. The first episode, The Iron Tooth, will serve as the introductory module. You and your friend are going to be sent to the Ruins of Malabog to investigate the disappearance of an elven dignitary. But brutish creatures are ready to kill anyone foolish enough to enter the lands once held by Malabog the Fomorian King. And deep in the forest, rumors of an ancient fey being, together with scattered bands of Malabog’s minions, seek to conquer Sharandar and seize its arcane secrets.

Once entering the expansion, you will find the New Sharandar social hub, the Ruins of Malabog Adventure Zone, and the Vault of Stars dungeon, along with many epic rewards. The next two episodes, Episode 2: The Soul Keeper and Episode 3: The Odious Court, will continue the story at a later date. Perfect World hasn’t said when they are going to reveal more about them, but promised details and new features for the episodes will be revealed “soon.”
