DC’s new comics this week are bringing Wonder Woman back together with her love, Steve Trevor. Wonder Woman #9 from Tom King and Daniel Sampere releases this week from the publisher and continues the titular hero’s fight against Sovereign. As the villain attacks Diana Prince’s mind, she seeks refuge in her greatest love. The duo gets reacquainted, and Wonder Woman explains her journey so far to Steve. Of course, he is there to give advice and words of encouragement. However, will it be enough to help her survive this harrowing chapter?

Alongside Wonder Woman #9, DC’s new comics this week are not giving the members of the Justice League a break. Writer Joshua Williamson and artists Rafa Sandoval and Miguel Mendonca are giving readers the “Main Match” in Superman #14. The issue finds the titular hero facing off with Lobo, who has betrayed him. However, it may be too late with Brainiac plotting something. Elsewhere, the entire Justice League has a monstrous problem, or two, on their hands with Justice League Vs. Godzilla Vs. Kong #7. The issue comes from writer Brian Buccellato and artists Christian Duce and Tom Derenick.

Batman is pulling double duty this week with the release of two new comics from DC. Dan Jurgens and Mike Perkins are taking it back to the past with The Batman: First Knight #3. Meanwhile, Batman and Superman are dealing with some impish problems as they travel to the fifth dimension in Batman/Superman: World’s Finest #27. The issue comes from writer Mark Waid and artists Dan Mora and Travis Mercer.
