Skybound and Image Comics are coming together for a new Creepshow anthology. This third installment continues to draw inspiration from Greg Nicotero’s television series of the same name. This time around, readers will delve into scary stories from some of the best in the biz. This includes stories from Chip Zdarsky, Kagan McLeod, and James Stokoe. This new anthology, officially known as Creepshow Vol. 3, drops later this fall. Just in time for All Hallows Eve!

This new Creepshow anthology will consist of five issues. According to Skybound, the first issue promises new horrors from writer Chip Zdarsky and artist Kagan McLeod. It features a terrifying tale of a repressed housewife whose daughter is in the clutches of a local cult. Frustrated, the mother decides to take matters into her own hands. Unfortunately, the true horrors of this cult are more than she anticipated.

The second Creepshow story, from James Stokoe, brings a chilling mystery to the table. It involves a severed human hand, and the lengths one writer will go to discover the truth. However, the writer may just find out he is not the author of this story… Both stories will feature in the debut issue. However, four more issues will release soon after bringing even more scares and thrills to the series. Plus, they will be bringing some amazing artists to the spooky anthology.

In announcing this new Creepshow anthology, Skybound also gave a peek into the future of the series. They announced that some of the artists are working on the upcoming Creepshow anthology. They include John Ridley, Mike Carey, Jorge Fornes, John Arcudi, Ed Brisson, Stefano Raffaele, Chris Condon, and more. It is not surprising that Skybound is bringing such talent to the table. The previous two anthologies featured big names like Chris Burnham, Paul Dini, Becky Cloonan, and Garth Ennis.

Creepshow Vol. 3 is on sale 09/25
