Halo Infinite has been doing exceptionally well in the last week since its launch. The title has been instrumental in making Halo more accessible than ever, thanks to a year delay and more cash flow from Microsoft. Finally, the series has gone free to play, which of course introduces many new fears. While micro-transaction cosmetics and new armors will be paid, fans are wondering where some favorite items are. With the launch of Halo Infinite’s multiplayer content being solid so far, many weapons and vehicles did not make the initial cut. There’s no telling what they will add next, but leaks have already been giving glimpses about new weaponry. These variations of previous weapons are a returning mechanic from Halo 5. Confirmed via GreenKnight on YouTube, Halo Infinite weapon variants will be released sometime in the future.

What Is Different About Halo Infinite’s New Weapon Variants?
While the white textures are new, some of the normal textures shown are not what they should appear as. Regardless they function like normal Halo Infinite multiplayer weapons would despite reusing the textures. Most of the upgraded weapons either shoot faster, have tighter spread patterns, or just deal more damage. These tier 2 weapons are certainly the first look at what higher tiers of combat gear will look like. For instance, the Striker Sidekick has a 14 round magazine and tighter spread. Already a more deadly pistol with more ammo in the chamber as well. This new type may also lead to a later third tier of items making them even more powerful. While there’s no clear indication on when these weapons will land in the player’s hands, it’s good to know 343 Industries is working on new upgrades to the player’s weaponry. Halo Infinite Multiplayer is now free to play on Xbox consoles and PC.
