It’s never a good idea to pick a fight on the street, though that advice often falls on deaf ears, as is the case for an old man in New Jersey. The New Jersey man supposedly initiated a fistfight with a Black Amazon delivery driver, who was not only younger but also more physically fit. As expected, the old man from New Jersey lost the fight, but his losses didn’t end there because someone also stole his car while he was getting his butt kicked:
In a viral video uploaded by Reddit user firefly99999, you can see that the fight has already begun before the recording. It also appears that the old man stopped his car and left the doors open with the keys still in the ignition so he could start the street fight with the Amazon delivery driver. The old man was losing the fight badly and getting pinned on the ground and punched while down, which was probably why he didn’t see that a bystander drove away in his car.
It’s not clear who stole the old man’s car. Still, he initially blamed the Black Amazon driver– ready to continue the fight, after realizing that he now had a bigger problem to deal with. Afterward, the old man walked away defeated, presumably to try and chase after his stolen car. People online have since pointed out just how unlucky the old man was, according to the comment section:

As for the fight, it’s not clear who started it, but you can hear the Amazon driver yelling, “Put your hand on me again!” after the beatdown, which is why many assumed that he wasn’t the instigator and that he was just acting in self-defense. Seeing that the Amazon man is also in his uniform, it’s fair to assume that he wouldn’t be starting fights while on the job.
Since many in the comment section have assumed that the New Jersey old man started the drive-by fistfight, people in the comment mocked him online, even though his car was stolen. Some, however, also felt bad for both since there was apparently no winner in the fight, as the Amazon driver could also face losing his job.
