A New Jersey man saw enough when he noticed two elderly women left a dog in a car for several hours. When he found the women responsible, he decided to call them out. What resulted was an aggressive back-and-forth complete with fat-shaming and homophobia.
Posted by TikTok user Remixso_, Sals claims the women, a “crazy eyed Karen,” left a dog in a vehicle for two hours while she was at a salon in Randolph.
One elderly woman walks toward Sal, getting in in his face. Sal responds, “Put your hands on me, I’ll call the police.” She instigates him, telling Sal to call her a “fat [expletive] again.” Then, she asks if there’s something wrong with him as Sal’s friends and the women fight with one another in the background.
The fat-shaming from Sal continues just as one of the elderly woman starts throwing homophobic slurs at Sal and his friends. This starts another wave of insults, such as calling the women “homeless” and “stupid,” as well as several expletives.
When asked by one of Sal’s friends what they plan on doing, the blonde lady says she’ll “call the cops.” Sal, seemingly unafraid of her threat, tells them to go ahead and call the police. He has video footage, after all. Instead, they continuously berate the elderly women to “go get your dog” as they walk away.

Many commenters were fired up by the argument, with the overwhelming majority in favor of how Sal and his friends handled the situation. Commenting on how the New Jersey locals resorted to using homophobic slurs, a viewer wrote, “Nice language for old ladies.”
Another viewer feeling extreme sympathy for the dog, suggested the dog-owner should be “locked up.” Sal liked the comment and responded, saying the situation was “overly disgusting,” but argued the salon was “even more disgusting” for defending her. This wasn’t the only commenter to think so, with another arguing she should be locked up for “12 years.”
As opposed to outright agreeing with Sal’s behavior like many others in the comment section, a viewer did ask a few clarifying questions. “What temperature was it outside? Was the dog in distress? These are important things to know.” This comment got some pushback in the thread that followed.
One TikTok user called OP “disgusting” and another asked how they’d feel in that situation. A third chimed in, pointing out the elderly women were in “shorts and sundresses” so the temperature must “not have been ideal” in the car.
According to AccuWeather, New Jersey on Sept. 23rd had a high of 71°F and a low of 56°F. As per New Jersey law, if a dog is left in ‘inhumane conditions,’ then it would be considering a crime and constitutes a fine (source: Rutgers University).
