A shocking incident unfolded in New Mexico after an elderly woman, labeled a “Karen” online, crashed her motorbike into the back of a pregnant woman’s car. After the collision, the Karen became aggressive, punching the car window and shouting profanities at the victim. The footage is circulating online right now.
While the video doesn’t show the accident that preceded the confrontation, it does reveal the Karen’s aggressive behavior towards the pregnant driver following the crash. At the start of the confrontation, the victim rolls down her window and shouts, “I’m [expletive] pregnant.” The Karen, wearing a green hoodie, black jacket, and black bike helmet, angrily approaches the vehicle and punches the window, prompting the victim to quickly roll it back up. It’s worth noting that it’s around this point where we can clearly see that the Karen is riding a motorbike with a New Mexico licence plate.
“Just close your window and shut up! Nobody wants to talk to you, [expletive]. Oh, is that really supposed to threaten me or something?” yells the elderly woman on a motorbike, referencing the phone that the pregnant driver is using to record the incident. “It doesn’t bother me at all. You can film me all the [expletive] you want. I don’t give a [expletive]. You’re so [expletive] stupid.” she exclaims, while smoking a cigarette on her motorbike. In retaliation, the elderly motorbike rider then pulls out her phone and begins recording the pregnant driver. Moments later, the Karen declares, “We’re gonna sit here and wait for the cops, because you [expletive] can’t drive.”
Reactions to the video have poured in, with most viewers criticizing the irate woman at the center of the incident. On Instagram, one user expressed, “Look like Karen tried to pass” while the OP, and the alleged victim of the incident responded with, “after she rear ended me I thought she was trying to pass me up and keep going too that’s why I pulled my phone out and started recorded right away .. But no she scraped her bike against my car , dropped it , then got up and came straight to my window furious punching and talking crazy . I immediately rolled up the window and called the cops ! Bc no I wasn’t getting out the car to deal with her crazy a”$” Meanwhile, on Reddit, one netizen joked, “For someone who’s not bothered she sure sounds bothered“.
