Hospitals are places of healing, and it’s important to remain respectful when visiting. However, that respect should also be extended towards the employees of that hospital. Well, that’s not exactly what this New Mexico man showed in a recently posted TikTok video. The clip now has over 20K likes and 400K views, officially reaching viral status. Social media can’t seem to get enough of this odd story, as this man gets “kicked out” of a hospital.
The TikTok starts off with a nurse or some other hospital employee walking into a room full of people. It’s clear that they are visiting an older relative as he stays in the hospital to recover. As the woman walks in, she can also be heard asking, “Who was here this morning?” She then points directly at a man sitting in a wheelchair, as he asks, “Why?” It appears as though the man had shown some inappropriate behavior towards a staff member earlier in the day, and he is now facing the consequences of his actions. However, little does the New Mexico man in the video know, he is getting pranked, pretty badly.
TikTok Reacts To New Mexico Man Getting Pranked
The woman in the video plays along perfectly as she seems very serious about kicking this man out. She even gave a fabricated backstory regarding the man offending one of the hospital’s nurses earlier in the day. The TikTok comment section found this extremely hilarious, as well. Many would then leave behind their own jokes or opinions regarding the situation. “This whole video got me, I’m so gullible,” wrote one. “I was starting to feel bad for him,” stated another. Finally, one other comment read, “Plot twist.”
The family’s joke allegedly stemmed from the man accidentally mooning one of the nurses earlier that day. However, that’s something his family couldn’t let him live down, and now they have a funny story for the rest of their lives. Arguably, the best part was the man in the TikTok being fully convinced. At one point, he even goes around the room to say his goodbyes. The other nurse also threatened to call security, which may just be the cherry on top of this whole thing.
At the end of the day, this was harmless fun between a family who seemed very close. As the TikTok cuts off, they also let the New Mexico man in on the joke, so he doesn’t actually try to leave. Sometimes pranks can go a little too far, and a hospital isn’t always the best venue for something like that. Yet, this time, things stayed pretty chill.
