Every year, Microsoft and Sony hold their annual Holiday Sale. This sale typically starts right before the Winter Solstice and runs until the end of the first week of January. These dates are significant due to either return holiday presents or receiving gift cards or cash; this means an influx of cash/credit that can be used on those that’d like to score themselves a few games. Unlike previous years, the 2020 to 2021 sale is a bit different. While the world is still dealing with an ongoing pandemic, many are stuck at home using games to escape. Potentially because of this, the Xbox and PlayStation Holiday Sales have been extended.
Earlier this week, Sony announced that they were extending their PlayStation Holiday Sale until January 19, 2021. In addition to extending the sale’s length, new games have been added to the PlayStation Holiday Sale line up. Usually, we do not cover older news unless it is unknown information or something important.
