Recent developments have emerged regarding Sean “Diddy” Combs, as new allegations have surfaced accusing the music mogul of raping a 13-year-old girl at an MTV VMA afterparty in 2000. The claims, reported by Deadline, form part of a broader lawsuit filed in New York federal court under the New York City Victims of Gender-Motivated Violence Protection Act, detail harrowing events involving two unnamed celebrities, one male and one female, who allegedly witnessed and participated in the assault.
According to the lawsuit, the plaintiff, identified as Jane Doe, was dropped off at Music Hall in New York by a friend. After encountering a man who claimed to be Diddy’s limo driver, the plaintiff was told that she fit the mogul’s preferences for “younger girls.” The lawsuit alleges that after being drugged at the party, she entered a bedroom to rest, where she was subsequently raped by one of the male celebrities, with Combs and a female celebrity watching. Following this assault, Combs reportedly raped her as well. The incident ended with Combs allegedly attempting to force the victim to perform oral sex, though she resisted by striking him.
The lawsuit reads in part:
“Looking for a place to rest, Plaintiff entered what she believed to be an empty bedroom so she could lie down for a moment…
Soon after, Combs, along with a male and female celebrity, entered the room… Combs aggressively approached Plaintiff with a crazed look in his eyes, grabbed her, and said, ‘You are ready to party!’
Combs then threw Plaintiff toward another male celebrity, Celebrity A, who removed Plaintiff’s clothes as she grew more and more disoriented…
Plaintiff was held down by Celebrity A who vaginally raped her while Combs and Celebrity B, a female, watched. After the male celebrity finished, Combs then vaginally raped Plaintiff while the Celebrity A and Celebrity B watched. Combs attempted to force Plaintiff to perform oral sex on him, but she resisted by hitting Combs in the neck; he stopped.”
Attorney Tony Buzbee, who has filed numerous lawsuits against Combs recently, represents the plaintiff. This case is one of seven new claims filed against the former Bad Boy Records CEO in just the past few days. The legal actions span allegations of rape, sexual harassment, and trafficking, with several claims tied to events that took place between 2000 and 2022 in multiple cities across the U.S.
Diddy’s Legal Team Responds
Despite the severity of these new accusations, Diddy’s legal team maintains his innocence. In a statement provided to Deadline, Combs’ representatives reiterated:
“Mr. Combs has never sexually assaulted anyone—adult or minor, man or woman.”
They also accused Buzbee of trying to generate publicity through these lawsuits, calling the recent surge in allegations a coordinated attempt to defame their client.
The timing of these lawsuits coincides with Combs’ ongoing criminal case involving sex trafficking charges brought by the Department of Justice. He was arrested in September 2024 and has been in pre-trial detention at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn since, denied bail multiple times. Combs is facing life imprisonment if found guilty, with his trial set for May 2025.
These recent allegations echo previous claims that Combs’ parties frequently involved guests being drugged, a charge that has come up repeatedly in other lawsuits against him. While his legal team continues to fight the charges, the growing number of lawsuits—13 in just one week—paint a grim picture of his history in the entertainment industry.
As the legal proceedings continue, the case is expected to draw more attention, especially given the possibility of other celebrities being implicated.
