Dealing with conservative mindsets can be exhausting. So many conservative content creators have been flip-flopping on their views of President Trump, the economy, and more. This happens so much that it’s sometimes difficult to keep up with them. Now, a New York man is calling out one conservative specifically as he complains about the rising prices of everything. He once said that Trump promised lower prices on everything. So, what happened? Why did he change his mind?

@nathancjun

they are exhausting.

TikToker Nathan (@nathanjunp) shares a video made by Nick Henry, a man who frequently posts conservative views on his personal page. He has a pretty large conservative following online. In a recent Nick Henry video, he asks, “How are people surviving right now?” He explains he took his family to the Cheesecake Factory restaurant and paid $140. However, when Nathan looks back on Nick’s videos, he finds that he stands by President Trump on many economic issues. He can be seen telling people, “Trump will make everything cheaper.” In another video, he assures people that “Trump’s tariffs are actually going to help inflation. It’s going to help our economy.”

Nathan says that Nick has been “flip-flopping” on so many issues over the past eight months. Now, he wonders why everything is more expensive than he’s ever experienced. Nick tries to defend Trump and his tactics by saying we’ve been in a “silent recession.” This is a go-to tactic that conservatives will jump to so that their President doesn’t look bad even when he’s to blame for the current state of the economy. It puts the blame on everybody else, you know?

In the end, Nathan shows a close-up of Nick saying, “I just don’t know how the average American family is getting by right now.” This is hilarious seeing as Nick refers to himself as a conservative economic analyst. He has also been “justifying everything our President has done for the past year.” Does it seem like we’re winning yet here in America?

One commenter stated it best: “Henry is an exhausting fool.” Another person stated, “Can you say Hamburger Helper!! Tuna Helper!! That’s how the average American family is getting by. SNAP recipients may not even have that much, sadly.” This is so many people’s realities. And we can truly thank conservatives for voting for that.
