It was then that she had an eerie encounter that made her remember why she doesn’t like to visit the place alone at night. Of course, she whipped out her phone to document her odd and scary experience, which left the rest of the internet getting spooked as well.
In a TikTok video posted to the woman’s account, the New York storage unit appeared to be totally empty. However, it was clear that there was something going on in the building. The woman who goes by the username NYCDom revealed that she saw something off at the end of a hallway in the empty building. She zoomed in to show her followers what she could see.
At the very end of the hallway, a black figure can be seen peeking around the corner. The figure goes in and out of the frame every few seconds, and the woman reveals that she has no idea what it could be. She theorizes that it could have something to do with the nearby fans at the establishment. However, those on the internet aren’t so sure.

Some people had some suggestions for the woman, telling her to call 911 to be safe, scream and yell to scare whatever it may be away, and even run out of the building. However, she didn’t seem to do any of that. In fact, she remained pretty calm as the creepy encounter played out.
“Girl why you still so calm?” one person asked in the comment section. “I’d actually lock myself inside the storage unit until help arrived,” another social media user admitted. “I swear they need to make a horror movie abt being in a storage unit at night. It’s spooky,” one comment suggested. “I’m not even there and I’m scared,” a fourth chimed in.
After the video was published, some commenters got a bit worried because the NYC resident hadn’t given any updates. Some asked her if she was okay and whether or not she ever found out what the object at the end of the hallway was. However, so far, there’s been no word on the spooky encounter.
