Camryn Bynum Talks About Parent Trap Celebration: ‘I Had to Shoutout to London’
Camryn and Josh’s interception celebration caught so much attention online that fans had to get more information on the special moment. In an interview with Sports Illustrated, Camryn explained his thought process behind the now-viral moment.
“We’re on a generational celebration run right now, three weeks in a row,” he said. “We’ve had some fire celebrations.”
Indeed, they have. However, Bynum said this week’s moves “might have been one of my favorites,” explaining that the Parent Trap takes place in London, where their game against the Jets was played. “As soon as I knew we were playing in London, and I watched that movie last week, I’m like, ‘This is it.'”
With today’s win over the Jets, the Vikings secured their fifth consecutive victory of the season, making their team 5-0. Based on Bynum’s comments, he fully expects himself and his teammates to continue performing at a high level, meaning he needs more epic celebrations in his back pocket.
“My mindset is I gotta have something ready every single week,” he explained. “That’s one of my favorite movies, and I had to shout out to London for that one.”
