Although the original game was a bit of a flash-in-the-pan, Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 is coming back better than ever. New and old characters alike are making a return through special showcase trailers. Most recently, Raphael, from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series, made his Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 debut with his gameplay trailer. Despite being in the previous entry, fans were excited to see the return of the ninja turtle. Additionally, it was great to see all the changes he’s received in the new Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl game.

Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 New Showcase Trailer

For those who don’t know, Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl is a platform fighter series developed by Ludosity. This series functions very similarly to something like Super Smash Bros, where players will need to knock their opponents off the stage to win. However, rather than featuring Nintendo characters, this game includes a case of Nicktoon stars. This includes characters ranging from SpongeBob to Garfield. Although the premise sounds like a recipe for success, the game quickly fell off after release. Now, with the sequel releasing, this new Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl will give the series a second chance at life.

Raphael Has Fast, Light, and Safe Attacks

The new Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl gameplay trailer starts by describing Raphael’s playstyle. Inย  Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2, Raphael will use a series of rapid, low-commitment attacks, making him a rushdown character of sorts. Additionally, he is officially reported here as the fastest character in the game. The trailer then goes on to showcase each of Raphael’s moves, which all draw inspiration from his intense fighting style. This includes a throwing star projectile, leaping grab attack and many fast-paced flurries of blows. On top of this, Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 also showed off Raphael’s new ultimate ability, a mechanic new to the second entry. For this ability, Raphael will attack the opponent with a series of strikes, finishing them off with a massive uppercut attack.

Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 will be released on October 24, 2023. The game will be available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, Nintendo Switch, and Microsoft Windows.
