Photos of Fulton have emerged showing her with a black eye and facial bruising. Her injuries are believed to have been caused by a physical altercation with her son. It is believed that the Los Angeles Police Department is investigating the situation after Weston was named a suspect in a battery report, TMZ reports.
Nicolas Cage’s Son Allegedly Attacks Mother
The incident between Weston Cage (who works as an actor and recording artist) and his mother is alleged to have taken place just over a week ago. It occurred at Christina Fulton’s Los Angeles-area home. According to TMZ, the mother and son had initially had a verbal dispute which escalated into a physical altercation. “An ambulance was dispatched to Christina’s place — though no one was transported to the hospital,” sources told the outlet. Despite not being transported to the hospital, the incident was serious, and it is allegedly being investigated as “felony battery.”
“No arrests have been made yet … as Weston was already gone before they arrived,” sources told TMZ. As for how things took place, the insiders commented that Fulton had been “called to help her son as he was dealing with an emotional moment, and she came to console him.” They add that “she refutes the notion there was an argument and asks for privacy.”
Fulton has not posted anything on social media since the fight with her son, and neither has Weston Cage. Still, it is not going away.
It is an awful situation, and while neither Weston Cage nor Christina Fulton have commented on the alleged incident, the photos that have emerged make it hard to ignore. Fulton was seen in public recently with signs of bruising on her face.
