Historically, religion has always been a touchy subject for most people, but for some, they just tend to think others are wrong for not having the same beliefs as them. In the case of a video posted to Reddit, over 40 evangelists crowded around a metaphysical shop in Orlando, Florida to try to get it shut down, and the way things happened was pretty wild. Some people just really don’t understand when they’ve crossed the line and don’t know when to stop.
A whole group of Evangelists surrounded the Spiral Circle Bookstore in Orlando, and began singing hymns under the impression that the owner of the store was wrong for not believing what they believed. However, rather than causing major problems, the owner handled the situation pretty rationally and spoke with one of the evangelists, who ended responded with “I just want to say in the name of Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit is gonna shut down this place.”
Users on Reddit were quick to hop in the comments and speak their mind. “Literally my worst f*cking nightmare.” Another spoke up with “Mystics vs. Evangelists blasting spells at each other.” Others, however, started sharing their own stories with evangelists. “Religious people are f*cking crazy. I remember going to see The Passion of the Christ and being cornered by evangelicals that wanted to know everything about my faith. I just wanted to watch a movie that everyone was talking about, but because I said I wasn’t sure if Jesus is real at first, they wouldn’t leave me alone. They even followed me and my wife to our car in the parking lot.”
Following these users, a whole bunch of others started talking about wanting to show their own support to the shop this situation took place at. “This makes me want to go shop there,” said one user.
