The event Nintendo fans have long been waiting for has finally happened, Nintendo NY is officially open. The official Twitter and Facebook were abuzz with comments galore of anticipation and excitement. As if there weren’t enough incentives already, it was announced that each day of the opening weekend a different commemorative Splatoon would be handed out.

Charles Martinet announced on his Twitter that he would be handing out autographs at the reopening. An autograph everyone was thrilled to receive. Based on the times left by the actor, not everyone in attendance may have been able to receive one, though.

No doubt, every fan present was happy to be a part of such a momentous occasion. Were you able to attend or were you stuck at home? Has any of your own photos you want to share? Let us know what you thought  while you were there.
