Another Thursday, another batch of Epic Games Store free games, but with a bit of a treat thrown in for good measure in the shape of Nioh: Complete Edition. As usual, after last week’s offering of Yoku’s Island Express, we knew post-apocalyptic management sim Sheltered was on the way, but Epic Games kept Nioh: Complete Edition quiet until today.

Nioh: Complete Edition Free on the Epic Games Store

As the name suggests, Nioh: Complete Edition is the definitive version of the acclaimed 2017 Souls-like. It features the full game and all three expansions (Dragon of the North, Defiant Honor, and Bloodshed’s End), each spruced up with additional story chapters.

Ready to die? Experience the newest brutal action game from Team NINJA and Koei Tecmo Games. In the age of samurai, a lone traveler lands on the shores of Japan. He must fight his way through the vicious warriors and supernatural Yokai that infest the land in order to find that which he seeks.”

Siding Nioh: Complete Edition, Sheltered charges you with managing the needs of an underground shelter in a bleak, post-apocalyptic world. There are supplies to gather, resources to manage, stats to assign, and potential hazards and unwelcome visitors to ward off.

Sheltered is a deep and emotional survival management game. You take on the role of protecting four family members who, after a global apocalypse, have found their way to a deserted shelter. “

Sheltered and Nioh: Complete Edition are available from right now by visiting the Epic Games Store (scroll down to Free Games on the homepage or click here) until next Thursday, September 16. As for next week, the Epic Games Store free games line-up features racing-combat mashup Speed Brawl and the sci-fi turn-based strategy of Tharsis, both of which will be up for grabs from 8 AM PDT/11 AM EDT/5 PM CET.
