The release date for No Man’s Sky is fast approaching, and the hype for this long-awaited game is at an all-time high. In preparation for endless space exploration, developers at Hello Games are working overtime to perfect gameplay. So much so, that the first patch for the game apparently already is ready to go.

The studio tweeted out their progress.

What “new features” could be added to No Man’s Sky will be difficult to know until the game actually hits the public. But that doesn’t stop fans from speculating. Especially since the game took a long time coming. The game initially announced in 2013, and even when an official release date came about, it was later delayed.

Speculation is one thing this game seems to be surrounded by often. So far, people claim to have “beaten” the game, along with some stating they discovered everything the world has to offer. With so much content being offered in No Man’s Sky, these statements appear a bit suspicious. The limitless world offers so much to explore. With even more content on the way, people talking about No Man’s Sky won’t go away anytime soon.

No Man’s Sky releases August 9th for PC and PS4.
