Redemption is on the horizon! No Man’s Sky is hitting VR. Hello Games is releasing the Beyond update later this Summer and it will include PSVR and SteamVR support. The developers revealed a new trailer in VR for the game. Many fans remember when the game came out in 2016 and did not hold up to the hype. A year later, shortly after the decline in sales and players, the developers came out with an update. This was the turn around Hello Games needed but they didn’t stop there. Apparently, the new Beyond updates have been in the works for a while. Along with the new Virtual Reality, game players will be able to immerse themselves into the world of No Man’s Sky. For those of you who have never played the game, No Man’s Sky is Sci-Fi RPG.
To be quite frank, the universe is your oyster. You explore and survive through the infinite galaxy! Building things on planets, moons and taking in the stars on your journey. I am a huge Star Trek fan so this game makes me feel as if I was a Science officer in the Federation of Planets. Players get to create anything they can think of as long as you can find the tools to do so.
The Beyond update will be free for anyone who has No Man’s Sky. Beyond promises of a new way to interact with other players, enhancing your exploration experience. Anyone who already purchased the game will not have to pay any microtransactions or any fees. This will be free to anyone who already has the game. This keeps getting better and better. I am looking forward to the update out this Summer.
