This article is over 3 years old and may contain outdated information.

No More Heroes 3 originally launched in August of last year. It continued following the story of the world’s best assassin, Travis Touchdown. The game was accessible to many players at the time, with versions on PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch consoles. However, Travis’s adventures will soon be playable by an even wider audience. The No More Heroes 3 digital edition is coming to PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, and PS5 consoles next month.

Travis Touchdown is officially landing on digital platforms when No More Heroes 3 from @XSEEDGames launches Oct. 11! The title will hit #PlayStation, #Xbox, and PC via #Steam and Microsoft Store for $49.99. More here: https://t.co/HWnapSrdvq

This isn’t a new game in the series. That is to say, you won’t find any changes story-wise when compared to last year’s release. However, the game has been given a tune-up in some areas, according to today’s press release.

“No More Heroes 3 will arrive on new platforms with improved HD visuals, framerates, and faster loading times to keep players dishing out eye-popping ultraviolence.”

What else can players expect from the No More Heroes 3 digital edition?

Aside from sleeker graphics and smoother performance, the digital edition also marks the first opportunity many gamers may have to play the game. With that in mind, here’s a little summary of the story. After becoming the best assassin in the world, Travis retired. But it won’t stay that way for long.

“Being the “number-one assassin in the world” isn’t what it used to be. Otaku hero Travis Touchdown is back once more, forced out of retirement to defend Santa Destroy, and Earth, in an intergalactic test of might while proving he’s more than just a washed-up has-been who talks to his cat. Warm up those beam katanas, tighten the all-new Death Glove, and get ready to partake in outrageous boss battles against the evil Prince FU and his nine alien henchmen as Travis fights his way to the top of the Galactic Superhero Rankings!”

Players will be able to step into Travis’s shoes on October 11, when the No More Heroes 3 digital edition comes to PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, and PS5 consoles.
