Don’t prudes, boomers, and Karens have anything better to do these days? It’s this need to make others as miserable as them. Don’t they remember they shouldn’t say anything if they have nothing nice to say? One boomer forgot that lesson and had something nasty to say to an attendee at an apple festival in North Carolina. This miserable soul didn’t take a liking to her outfit and had to whine about it. Now the woman is wondering if her outfit truly was too provocative (it isn’t) or if this boomer was just being mean.
Letty posted her video on TikTok, where you get a glimpse of the apple festival she was attending. “Apparently my outfit was too provocative today at the apple festival,” says the caption. You can hear a lady standing behind her say, “I almost forgot to put clothes on, too.” Did anyone else hear a record scratch? Imagine taking the time to put together a cute outfit and someone trashes it.
Letty explained after the video ended, this boomer Karen kept ranting. She laughed when Letty turned around and looked at her to confront her. Then, she apparently said to her husband, “But if I wore what she wore it would be a problem.” That sounds like someone is really jealous, to be honest. What’s stopping her from expressing herself? The people I pal around with accept uniqueness and argue you should let your colors fly.
I saw Letty’s outfit posted in the comments and I don’t see anything wrong with it. Though some commenters thought it was too provocative for an apple festival. I disagree. All I see is somebody who chose a themed outfit and went with it. She had multiple layers under a lace over-shirt, bloomers, and an apple hat. And with how hot it’s been, I bet she was able to keep cool, too.
“Anyone saying her outfit was the problem is giving purity culture. She was covered. She had a top with shorts and a cover over that,” one commenter pointed out. It’s several leagues above a bikini and most of her skin is covered. Another person believes the prudish boomer was simply jealous, which is what I believe. They said, “What she meant to say was ‘I’m mad because you’re wearing a fit I could never pull off.’” When you look at it that way, she’s probably right.
