Thanks to social media apps like TikTok, among countless other platforms, it’s as easy as ever to see pretty much any kind of content those apps have to offer. However, a common theme among these clips is public freakouts. Well, that’s exactly what these North Carolina women took part in as a fast-food drive-thru altercation broke out. The video has around 1k likes and 24K views as social media speaks up regarding this situation.
The TikTok begins with two women sitting in a drive-thru line at a fast food establishment. However, the line is seen to be quite long, and tempers are flaring. As the video progresses, another person can be heard yelling in the background. Finally, the North Carolina woman would step out of the vehicle to see what was going on. Yet, as soon as she steps out of the car, she begins yelling at the person behind them.
“You think they got us holding for nothing?” she says multiple times in a row. With the altercation continuing to escalate, a worker from inside the restaurant was sent to attempt to smooth things over. Despite her best efforts, though, she was unable to defuse the situation at hand.
TokTok Reacts To North Carolina Woman’s Fast Food Freakout
This would seemingly be the last straw for the TikTok comment section, as they would flood the comment section with their own thoughts regarding the issue. “Fast food has never been that serious,” one commenter pointed out. “I hate when people act this impatiently,” stated another. The TikTok’s caption also reads, “She tried the wrong one this morning,” referring to the person in the second vehicle. Finally, one other said, “If you’re in a rush, go inside.” It would appear that the comment section is just as fed up with everyone’s behavior as the employee in the video.
While the problems could have ended right then and there, the North Carolina woman would post a follow-up TikTok, where she apologized to the employee for not only her action, but the other person’s as well. The clip seems to take place only moments after the original altercation, with the woman recording at the second window paying for her food. Unfortunately, though, the person behind them is still very upset about the wait. They can be heard yelling still as the second TikTok continues on. Fast food is a want, not a need. If somebody doesn’t have the patience to wait their turn, then maybe they need to start eating at home.
