This led to the man having a complete public meltdown after being told they didn’t have the flavor of ice cream he wanted. His crash out was then recorded and posted to TikTok by the account @Iamshleyraye. The video now has over 21,000 views and 1,500 likes, as it continues to reach viral status.
The TikTok begins with the man already inside the establishment, and seemingly unaware that he is being filmed. The text on the screen of the video reads, “Walked into Dunkin Donuts to this man being belligerent to the employees because the ice cream he wanted is sold out.” Right away, it would seem the employees are fed up with the North Carolina man, but they continue to serve him anyway. However, after only moments after the video started, the man would begin to use foul language towards the workers. This then prompted one of the women behind the counter to tell the man, “Watch your mouth.”

The video’s comment section was also filled with users ready to flame the older man. “Grown man crying over ice cream, bro,” wrote one. “Mind you, he could have gone to the grocery store,” said another. Finally, one other stated, “Tell him to go to McDonald’s.” It seems very clear that the comments are just as done with this man as the people who actually experienced his nonsense.
As the TikTok continues, the North Carolina man stays persistent. He can be heard complaining about the workers not restocking the ice cream, as well as not answering the phone. While this is going on, the group recording can also be heard ordering their food. By the end of the altercation, both parties are done ordering and are ready to pay. The woman recording the TikTok even allows the older man to go first. Most likely, so he will leave the Dunkin’ Donuts faster.
Working in the service industry does not appear to be for the weak. More and more odd interactions like this have continued to pop up all over the place. Hopefully, the North Carolina man just really wanted some ice cream. As for the Dunkin’ Donuts employees, they handled the situation pretty well.
