Another month and another set of PS Plus games are about to drop on to the PlayStation service; only this month sees the release of the PlayStation 5, meaning there are more games than usual.
For November, Sony will offer players with an active PS Plus subscription the chance to download 3 games, including a PS5 launch title. Oh, Sony, you do spoil us. Joking aside, the November PS Plus games are actually pretty strong, even without the extra title.
The games available will be Middle-Earth: Shadow of War, Hollow Knight: Voidheart Edition, and Bugsnax.
Each will be available from November 3rd, except for Bugsnax, which will be downloadable from the launch of PS5, November 12th, and will be available until January 4, 2021. Also, only the PS5 version will be available through the service; if you want to grab the PlayStation 4 version, you’ll have to buy it yourself.
As you can see from the trailer, Bugsnax looks colorful and fun and is a welcome addition to the PS Plus lineup.
The PS4 games are no slouches either. In fact, we gave Hollow Knight a perfect score when we reviewed the original release. At the time, we said it was a delight to explore from beginning to end. Sentiments I couldn’t agree with more. If you haven’t managed to play this brilliant and gorgeous Metroidvania, make sure you do so next month.
We also gave Shadow of War 5 stars in the review. As I said, November is a good month. We said it had a combat system that should be the hallmark that all third-person action titles should strive to achieve. It’s been several years since release, so it’ll be interesting to see how it feels now.
Let us know your thoughts on November’s PS Plus titles in the comments; maybe 2020 hasn’t been such a bad year after all. At least on the gaming front.
