One of the easiest and most profitable factions in Oblivion: Remastered is the Fighters Guild. You might know this from Elder Scrolls Online and might miss it in Skyrim since the Companions are the ones filling that role. Fortunately, anyone in Cyrodiil can join it and start making a bit of gold for their future ventures. Also, you don’t have to wait a long time to do so. All you need to do is follow the main quest, speak to a few NPCs, and start your adventure.

Contrary to other factions, joining this one just requires a bit of exploring and talking. Yes. It is that easy. Furthermore, you can join it just by following the main quest, which might actually make this the first Guild you’ll join. If you want to pursue this organization, this is what you have to do:

  1. Head to either Anvil, Cheydinhal, or Chorrol.
    • The ideal place is Chorrol, as the main quest will lead you there right after the tutorial.
  2. Enter the Hall and talk to whoever is in charge of the Guild.
    • If you don’t find the leader, try to talk to other NPCs. They will tell you who the person you need to talk to is.
  3. Complete a quest.
    • You’ll likely have to complete a quest to join the faction, and once you do so, you’ll be part of the Fighters Guild in Oblivion: Remastered.

It is important to remember that there are a few limitations when joining the Fighters Guild. First, you must not have a bounty on your character. If you have one, you won’t be able to join the Guild. Second, if you have Infamy of 100, you also won’t be able to become a member. For that reason, many people recommend joining the Fighters Guild as soon as you finish the tutorial.

Last but not least, this faction is one of the best in money-making during the early game. You can grab assignments in the hall and get a generous sum of gold after completing them. Also, the rewards scale with your level, with 100 being the smallest reward and higher-level quests giving you 600 gold pieces. So, you should prioritize joining the Fighters Guild as soon as possible.
