Having been born and raised in South Florida for most of my life, I am incredibly aware of the staunch Republican behavior that seems to encompass every man living there. It seems that despite many of them having directly lived under the Fidel Castro dictatorship in Cuba, they feel that Donald Trump is doing absolutely nothing wrong. One particular Florida man decided to show his love and dedication for the President by painting Elon Musk and Donald Trump’s names on his car with blue and red paint while blasting music in a Publix parking lot. Everyone knows how much this screams, ‘politics!’
The video above features a man in a Publix grocery store parking lot in the Roosevelt area of Broward County, Florida. Driving a white Geo Metro, blue and red paint can be seen covering his car and spelling out the names of Donald Trump and Elon Musk. On top of the car is a large speaker system that sounds as though it is playing music, though not very loudly.
It seems that people passing by were either ignoring or tired of the man’s behavior, as he was basically all but ignored by those leaving the grocery store parking lot. In fact, he even takes a moment to wave toward the person recording the video, as though proud of what he is doing. What’s interesting is that someone in the comments immediately clocked what it is he was doing, saying, “Everyone should stay far from him and that car. He’s looking to make it into the news. He bought a POS car so it wouldn’t matter if it were vandalized, he painted it up, and now he’s trying to get in people’s faces. He might be carrying a firearm and looking for a reason to use it or he might be hoping to take a beating so that he sue someone. Either way he’s trying to get famous. He’s clearly not right in the head and attempting to make things worse in his area.”
I’ve happened to be a witness to this type of behavior more often than I can count. So, I wouldn’t be very surprised if this is exactly what he’s doing. Another commentator feels the same, saying, “Some people shouldn’t be allowed to drive.” I couldn’t agree more with this sentiment in this particular scenario. Hopefully, he was able to catch the attention of local law enforcement and is able to either get the help he needs or is detained and will be unable to continue with this behavior.
