PS Plus: Two Popular Games Join the Lineup

The Last of Us is a critically acclaimed title from developer Naughty Dog (Jak and Daxter, Uncharted). Originally released on the PlayStation 3 in 2013, the story focuses on Joel and Ellie, two people on a quest for survival. An infection has spread across the Earth, turning its victims into wild, cannibalistic beings. The remainder of the uninfected does their best to carve out a life for themselves while avoiding the fallen and other survivors wishing to do them harm. The remastered version on the PS4 comes with the post-game DLC, Left Behind as well so PS Plus players can experience the full story for free.

MLB The Show 19 puts PS4 players on the mound and at-bat. Developed by San Diego Studios, gamers can play baseball with virtual versions of todayโ€™s current pros. Other features include full seasons to play through as well as a new mode called Mementos. This mode lets players recreate and live iconic moments in baseball. Face off against other gamers online or create your own pro baseball player and rise to the top. Anybody who downloads and logs into the game between October 1 and October 30 will receive free DLC content in the form of five free packs so it is the perfect time for PS Plus players to jump in!

The Last of Us Remastered and MLB The Show 19 will be free to download for PS Plus subscribers on Tuesday, October 1. PS4 players can add the titles to their libraries and download them at any time if they have a subscription.
