Revealed by Focus Home Interactive and Saber Interactive, the MudRunner sequel, SnowRunner, will be available in mid-Spring this year.
After a great job, Saber Interactive did with World War Z in case of sales and marketing, now another title from the studio’s second team is about to arrive over the next few months. As the studio has promised soon after World War Z‘s launch, their next project is SnowRunner. A fun and hardcore driving simulator, which hopefully is a sequel to MudRunner, a name that shouldn’t be unfamiliar for simulator enthusiasts.
Launched back in 2017, MudRunner was a reimagination of the SpinTires series, simulating driving the heavy vehicles in muddy roads, rocky mountains, and messy weather. The game was mostly known for its realistic challenges and hardcore gameplay that wouldn’t let you surpass the missions without getting into serious troubles several times.
Now, after three years, SnowRunner comes with new locations, new challenges, and new vehicles to put in dozens of messy situations once again and challenge your driving skills in the worst roads of the world. Focus Home Interactive, the publisher behind SnowRunner, recently shared a new gameplay trailer from the game, revealing its release date and target platform.
According to the trailer, SnowRunner will be hitting PS4, Xbox One, and PC on April 28th, which is only 10 weeks away. Unlike MudRunner, SnowRunner‘s PC version will be exclusive to Epic Games Store.
Developed by a new engine, SnowRunner brings 40 vehicles from famous brands such as Ford and Chevrolet. The game features a beautiful snowy open-world map, in which you have to sit on the driver’s seat and reach your destination alive! Along with single-player mode, SnowRunner will be supporting a 4-player co-operative mode as well. Customizations are a big part of the game, and PC players will be able to create mods and inject more creativity into the gameplay.
