Now that Cardi B and Offset are no longer together, the Migos rapper officially has his eyes on someone new: Sabrina Carpenter. Offset confirmed his crush on the pop star in his latest interview. The revelation comes just weeks after Cardi B showed off her new man at an NBA game.
Offset and Sabrina Carpenter?
Offset discussed his love for Sabrina Carpenter in a video for Complex. He played a game with magician Anna DeGuzman in which she tried to name his secret celebrity crush. She wrote her guess on a piece of paper and then crumpled it up. She then asked Offset a series of questions to see if she was right.
DeGuzman was able to correctly identify that Offset’s crush was a singer. When the magician asked him to name a favorite song of hers, Offset confessed that he couldn’t think of one on the spot. However, he said that one thing he admires about his crush was that she “artistically” has it “all together.”
After DeGuzman gave Offset her paper, he unfolded it to reveal that Sabrina Carpenter’s name was written on it from the beginning. Since he had never publicly talked about his crush on her, Offset was left in disbelief that DeGuzman guessed it. “That’s crazy,” he said.
DeGuzman couldn’t believe that Carpenter was the rapper’s “type.” Fans were equally surprised to learn that Offset has a thing for the “Espresso” singer. “Jaw dropped. I would never have guessed in a million years,” someone commented. “This has to be a joke,” another person said. Meanwhile, other fans wondered what Cardi B would say about Offset’s crush. “Cardi B is not gonna like this,” someone wrote. “Cardi B is gonna crash out,” another agreed.
Is He Trying to Send Cardi B A Sign?
Interestingly, news about Offset’s crush on Sabrina Carpenter comes just over a month after Cardi B and Stefon Diggs confirmed their relationship. The two first sparked dating rumors last fall. However, they didn’t make their first public appearance until May 12 when they were seen attending a New York Knicks match against the Boston Celtics. The “WAP” rapper and the NFL star showed off PDA throughout the game. From holding hands and whispering into each other’s ears, the couple appeared happy to debut their new romance.
Now that Cardi B and Diggs are an item, it’s possible Offset may have wanted to send his ex-wife a sign that he’s moved on, too, by revealing his crush. Some fans wonder whether Offset and Sabrina Carpenter could get together. After all, the pop star is also newly single.
She used to be in a relationship with actor Barry Keoghan. According to People, the pair split in December 2024 after a year of dating. As for Offset and Cardi B, the two broke up last summer when she filed for divorce from the Migos rapper for the second time.
